Description

Ganymede transits the face of Jupiter. The Great Red Spot holds its shape like a strong all-seeing eye. Ganymede's  shadow slowly rolls across the equator of Jupiter.

This photo is from the early morning on August 8, 2021. Seeing was very good, and transparency a little better than expect (not perfect). This image will benefit from a second editing round. For now, it captures the dark shadow of Ganymede looking like a large ink spot.
