Description

The Veil Nebula, more precisely its western part NGC 6960 (C34).
This nebula is an ancient supernova remnant, 1470 light years away from us. The star that originated this structure actually exploded several thousand of years ago.
What we can see today are very weak filaments, which expand at speeds of dozens of km/s.
For this reason, many scientists estimated that in a few thousands of years, this northern sky marvel, will fade out and disappear.

We keep going with our experiment of dual band filter + RGB on mono camera.
