Description

Barnard 150, often referred to as the Seahorse Nebula, is a distinctive dark nebula located in the constellation of Cepheus. It is named for its striking resemblance to the shape of a seahorse when observed in visible light. This dark nebula is composed of dense interstellar dust and gas, which absorbs and scatters the light from background stars, creating a silhouette against the starry backdrop.
