Description

Relatively large, but hard to see behind the multitude of stars and dust, the Hidden Galaxy lives up to its name. Making it all the more challenging was a a relentless parade of operator errors so I only got 370 minutes of data.

Special thanks to Ron Brecher (AstroDoc) for his expertise & guidance in PI processing. The Ha was only used heighten the red knots in the spiral arms. Went with color calibration, not photometric color calibration to minimize the red dust around the galaxy.
