Description

The coyote from Del Rio followed me to Houston!! No joke I was out on the evening of January 17th taking some nice photos of M1 (NGC1952) the Crab Nebula in the constellation Taurus, when around 1:30 AM a pack of coyotes started sounding off! They couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 houses down, howling like they'd taken down a Bull Elk! To put this in context, I live in Houston, TX... I'm literally inside the city limits in a nice, quiet neighborhood... The first thought that went through my mind was "how is this possible!?!?" My immediate follow up thought was "I shouldn't have left my gardening hoe in Del Rio!!" Needless to say I finished up fairly quickly. I can't seem to get the scope out without attracting coyotes! Any suggestions on how to keep the coyotes at bay??
