Description

Captured under good conditions, (both seeing and illumination) these lunar features are phenomenal! The alpine valley nice shows it's central rille. This rille has a width of a mere 600m and as such is fairly hard to image. Even with larger instruments it is challenging and an indicator for good seeing conditions.

Aristoteles and Eudoxus are a sublime crater pair. both show a wealth of detail both in their crater wall as well as the crater floor.

Cassini is quite a different sight. it features a low, sharp rim and a flooded crater floor with two smaller impact craters and a rille
