Description

A view of Jupiter and three of its satellites that presents an interesting configuration with this amazing symmetry between the shadow of Io and the whiteness of Europa in transit in front of the planet and close to the GRS.
Io and Ganymede are practically equidistant from their "star".

I made this panorama in three stages :

- Io is an IR image that I took on a first video at the beginning of the session with Jupiter in order to increase the processing accuracy with WinJupos.
- Jupiter then with 7 IR videos, 10 G and 5 B retained.
- Finally, I took advantage of my work last week on the moons and in particular Ganymede to place it at the precise time given by WinJupos or 20:22 UT, using the layers function of Photoshop.
