Description

This is the first test image from my restored 12" Skywatcher PDS Newtonian telescope.

The adjustment was not really good and I only got 24 images for the stack. In addition there was a tilt of the camera and some wind.

NGC 3344 is a barred spiral galaxy with extended star forming regions of Hubble-Type SBbc in the constellation of Leo Minor in the northern starry sky. It is estimated to be 24 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 Lj in diameter. The galaxy has an angular extent of 7.2 × 6.9 arcminutes and an apparent magnitude of 9.7 mag.
