Description

[English]
The nebula is much larger than this picture!
It is located at about 1400 light years from home.
It emits mainly in the H2 spectrum, which I used for the luminance.
OU4, the Giant Squid Nebula, discovered in 2011 by an amateur astronomer, Nicolas Outters, is not visible here, or only slightly. I'll have to use my recently acquired S and O filters. For a next time probably
LBN 446 appears in the lower right corner of the image - it is so cute!
