Description

NGC877, the largest galaxy of this group, which has an angular diameter 2.4'x1.8', appears to be a 4-arms face on spiral galaxy. It is located 178 million ly away. Its compagnon NGC876, a dim edge-on galaxy, is only 2' SW and at the apparent distance, the core to core separation of the two galaxies would be about 103000 ly.
