Description

IC 443, aka Sharpless 2-248, is a supernova remnant in constellation Gemini. It lies at an approximate distance of 5,000 light years from Earth. The Jellyfish Nebula is a remnant of a supernova that occurred in the Milky Way between 3,000 and 30,000 years ago. The supernova event produced the nebula and a neutron star.

I've only had one clear night of imaging here in Wisconsin since early December. I wanted to get more narrowband data for this target and RGB for stars, but finally tired of waiting, so I processed what I have. I'm not sure which color blend I like best, standard Hubble SHO, or a proportional mix HOS. Opinions welcome. Thanks for looking.
