Description

The Fish Head Nebula IC 1795 is an extension of the Heart Nebula IC 1805 in constellation Cassiopeia, close to the famous H & Chi star cluster. It is located in the Perseus arm, about 6000 light years away. I got bright OIII and SII signal.

I've now been waiting for a good opportunity to go for this nebula complex for some years, mostly this time of the year there is fog all over the place. I didnt expect to obtain good data, since the city was again covered in fog last weekend. My terrace is located in a slightly elevated position, but it was wet here, too. However, due to a huge cardboard dew cap and the Nebula located high in the sky, i couldn't find any visible impact of the fog, and had to skip just some frames with bad focus.
