Description

Target: Messier 106, M106
This image combines OSC and Mono data. I used the 533mc for the RGB and the 533mm for the Luminance. This is not a method I normally do, but I am pretty happy with the end result. The stars were a bit bloated because I didn't use a UV/IR cut filter on the 533mc. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!
Explanation: Messier 106 is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781. M106 is at a distance of about 22 to 25 million light-years away from Earth. (Wiki)
