Description

Like a jellyfish in the sea, this growing nebula seems to swim against the bottom of another nebula.

I had taken a photo of NGC6888 Crescent Nebula, this nebula is formed by the fast stellar wind from the Wolf-Rayet starWR 136 (HD 192163) colliding with and energizing the slower moving wind ejected by the star when it became a red giant.

I had used a colour camera QHY294C, with an Narrow duo band pass filter L-Extreme, in the frequency of hydrogen and oxygen III, this is because appeared with blue colours of Oxygen III.

97 subframes of 600 seg, 16h with a little refractor TS 72 mm doublet ED, from Vega Observatory, MPCB99, from dark skyes of Ager, lleida, Spain.

It was processed in a false palette of hubble, with an Pixinsght script of Bill Blanshan changing the RGB to HOO Palette.

One of the complexities of this processing has been to enhance the background nebula on the crescent. Another battle is to maintain a balance of color in the stars of which I am still not sure as well as of the ccd-reducer distance since I observe certain aberrations in the corners.

Title: NGC6888 pseudo HST

Description: I keep experimenting with my images, in this case it is a revision of an image of NGC6888 originally taken in RGB with L-Extreme filter. The balance of background tones and the growing nebula has been complicated, I have found few references, so I have had to improvise. Which of the images do you like more RGB or pseudo HST? Constructive criticism is welcome.
