Description

Looking through the list of Arp's I wanted to capture, this one looked interesting mostly because it was large (a welcome change for most of the Arp's).  It would carry a corresponding low surface brightness and so I was not anticipating much...  I'm happy to say I was so wrong about it.  While it is large and faint, it also shows amazing details - including some resolved star regions and a hint of the "bubbles" believed to be caused by supernovae.  While the Hubble image shows much finer details, all the major features can be seen.  I may have to return to this one with the OSC to capture the Hydrogen regions in colors.
