Description

Sometimes I find things I've taken a while back and wonder, "What is this?" So, using astrobin, it tells me it contains IC1308. Looking that up in SkySafari, I find it is part of Barnard's Galaxy. Then I chase it down in my files and discover it was taken with my Atik 460EX on the C14 with Hyperstar on August 8, 2018. This is a cropped version. And if you know where to look, you'll also find PGC63596, a +15.93 magnitude irregular galaxy.

PGC63596 is right next to a red ring nebula NGC 6822 which is catalogued by Hubble as 1925 III (the third object catalogued by Hubble). Alongside the ring nebula is a bubble nebula catalogued by Hubble as Hubble 1925 I.
