I started the data collection on this about 2 weeks ago but then I had nothing but clouds. We had a couple clear nights and I was finally able to get enough data collected and processed it. This was a fun planetary to image and process! I've always seen the Ha blob in images but not really any detail. When I started processing it I was surprised at how much detail there was in that blob. Its at 7 O'clock position in my image. I collected all the data with my Antlia ALP-T filter on my 12" newt so I can only attribute it to the larger aperture scope, maybe?
All data was processed in APP and I extracted the OIII & Ha data and used them along with masks to help pull the detail out from each channel.
This is pretty much full frame size from my ZWO 071 so "my wide field" image is here. I am going to process a cropped in version to see if I can pull any more detail out of it and will post if I like the results.
