Description

I was looking for something to fill the time and match the rotation of some other targets when I stumbled across this nebula. It is not an easy subject - the nebula itself is pretty faint and is in the densest starfield I've encountered in the night sky. Throwing a lot of exposure time at it revealed the rich Ha lion shape and a large OIII area underneath the lion's belly.

Does anyone know anything about what appears to be a jet blasting out from the upper left side across into the middle? This is somewhat reminiscent of the jet associated with M87 coming from the black hole there, but I haven't been able to find any information on this one. Please comment below if you have some insight!
