Description

This image is taken from my backyard observatory (Skyshed POD) located in the white zone of Silicon Valley, California.
SH2-174 is a really faint target, cannot see much from a single frame.

Sh2-174 is one of the oldest planetary nebulae that is more unusual because the white dwarf is not in the center of the nebula.
This asymmetry is due to the interaction of the planetary nebula with the surrounding interstellar medium.

This image takes 30 hours of Ha data (3nm filter), 24 hours of O3 data (3nm filter), and 25 hours of S2 data (3nm filter).
Several hours of RGB for star colors.
