The different look into Ghost Nebula in Cepheus Constellation. Object is a reflection nebula and it is classified as Bok globule (region with dense gas and dust where stars formation process may take place). This nebula is placed 1470 light years from Earth and it is 2 light years wide. Inside nebula are several stars and nebula shine the light reflected and coming from this stars. The red star is a Cephei T which is a red giant. Star surface temperature is 2400K and it shine intensively in near IR. This image is different because I use the data collected only with two filters:
- R (Baader R CMOS Oprimized)
- IR (Astronomik ProPlanet 742BP)
From this data I created bi-color image [image D], where:
- R channel is IR
- G channel is R
- B channel is R
And lso IR(RIR)R image [image C], where:
- R channel is IR
- G channel is median from IR and R
- B channel is R
Huge reflection around Cephei T appeared on NIR image and I didn't plan to remove it.
Last image E was created in different way. I take LRGB image (

This image has been used as a base:
- L: 50x300s
- R: 8x600s
- G: 8x600s
- B: 9x600s
I added IR image as R channel using LRGBCombination in Pixinsight similar way as L channel is added.
From final image I removed green color using SCNR.
