The last time I captured a DSO was at the end of May. Two months felt like a long time not to use my telescope as I enjoy getting out to shoot as often as possible, whether it is landscape, seascape, flowers, nightscape, or DSO.
Clouds would move in and out with small patches of clear sky before being covered in clouds again, which was no surprise as multiple forecasts showed cloudy through the night until at least midnight. I was only able to capture 5 subframes in between all the clouds before we left after 1:30 AM when more clouds prevented me from imaging. I will be revisiting the Veil Nebula in the future.
