Description

This image results from two consecutive nights.

Anecdotally, many obstacles in the way:

* changed the scope (from AP130 to the C8), with the same imaging CCD/AOG to reduce the FOV and frame them better - all fine

* then PHD2 was not able to keep up with a guiding star - however could get 10-12 frames over a 6 hours perid

* the next night was less favorable - PHD2 was lost - started suspecting PHD2, then SGP - tried the same with Voyager (same issue), NINA to no avail

* then checked the guiding camera (QHY5L2M) settings, which I didn't change from previous setup (why should I fix it, if it works???)

* repeated all the above, unsuccessfully

* went back to the QHY guiding camera settings and reduced the offset by a very small amount (5 or 10 units maybe) ---> miracle! PHD2 immediately found the guiding star.

Although I lost 3+ hours to understand and fix the problem, the rest of the night went very well.

Pfewww!
