Description

After months of bad weather here in France, clouds finally got away !!
SH2-221 is not the most photographed deep sky object but it's worth spending a couple of hours catching this huge supernova's photons, travelling through space for about 6000 years.

I was willing to pick a tricky target to test myself and see what I could achieve with a very dim object. It is quite something to go ahead when there is almost nothing but stars on a 10mn sub... But I kept on and finally what appears to be a complex H and O structure came up slowly but surely.
Processing wise, I tried to keep it as simple as possible. I didn't want SH2-221 to look like a lighthouse in the sky, I hope you'll enjoy!

CS,
Adrien
