Description

This Saturday evening was really not good deepsky photography weather.
The moon was still almost full and showed only milky through the many veil clouds. These, interrupted by a few clear gaps and then again denser clouds, did not invite to set up and adjust the whole equipment awkwardly.
It was only good that everything was still ready for some time, protected only by a rain tarp.
So on to some tests to optimize focusing and guiding.
Everything went like clockwork. Guiding smaller 0.7 arcseconds and sharp stars of HFR of 4 arcseconds at long exposure. Encouraged by a clear spot in the sky I slewed to the Heart Nebula IC1805 and started a long sequnez with SGP.
The next morning 73 x 300s were exposed. And this in laborious piecework. SGP had to stop several times because of dense clouds, but thanks to the recovery mode, it always caught itself again and bravely continued to expose.
On Sunday morning I shot the flats with the flatbox and then put everything into the Pixinsight calibration mill.
After selection via the subframe selector, 20 frames of the 73 frames remained, which were not so washed out by the clouds. The integrated result was surprisingly good and invited to finish editing.
I show you the result here.
Please note the very small and dim planetary Nebula WEBO-1 (or PN G135.6+01.0) which was quite recently discovered in 1996 by Ronald F. Webbink and Howard E. Bond.
It can be seen as a small blue ellipse in the lower left of the image.

Over all, the image turned out quite nice for the "bad weather".
