Classification of Professional / Amateur Pictures

Would be nice to have a classification for photos taken for professional purposes, with professional equipment (how about robotic telescopes? 3rd category?).

Based on that new things could be implemented like search / browse by professional, grouping on the wall, different "image of the day".

this will definitely happen, at least for classification and filtering purposes. We'll see how this will, if it will, affect the IOTD.

Yes I agree with this as well. I just posted an image I took of M42's core taken from a remote telescope using itelescope T-24 system. This imaging system cost near $100,000 U.S. Dollars and should be in a specific catagory. I did mention in my basic information for clarification that this was imaged remotely using itelescope.
I did not want to mislead anyone to think I own the gear and use it in my backyard; although it did cost me nearly $1.00 per minute to rent the time.
