Ok so let me preface this by saying that I’ve put very little thought into the subject lol. So lets say you live somewhere that causes a strong gradient. Does it make sense that a narrower field of view would produce images with a less severe gradient than wide field images? As in… a narrow field image would be easier to correct? Thoughts? |

| Yes, that‘s basically correct (for my light pollution): The gradients in my 500mm FL images are far more complex than at 1600mm FL. There‘s also the possibility of using a wider-field FOV to correct the gradients in the narrower field. I‘ve used that technique and it worked well. |

| I can agree with Torben. Got 250mm and 1200. the gradient is stronger with 250mm |
