OK, we have very little chance to take astrophotography pictures at this time of year due to the short nights, so I wondered what kind of pictures you could take during daylight hours. I saw these clouds tonight and just had to capture them:

Planes are way less disturbing during daylight ...
I still use the few clear nights for preparing my rig for upcoming better times.

Not quite up to your standards, but I enjoyed capturing this one. I used an old Zeiss Tessar 135mm F3.5 manual focus lense on a Sony NEX5N for this:
