Hi everyone. I was wondering if there is a way, or a company able to produce fluorescent or light retaining pictures that glow in the dark? I personally think it would look awesome, if at least the stars in my prints would retain the light after turning the lights off. Or maybe even install a UV light - as long as the pictures don't look too cheesy. My prints are in a stairway and won't illuminate a whole room, so I can image a UV light there, or even directly aimed at them (individually?). If there is such a thing, method or company doing this, please let me know. Buyman |

Buyman3375: I don't know about glow in the dark (that would be amazing), but I know of a film that retains a high dynamic range, and can be used with a backlight, to make the image pop. It's talked about in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxYyKaPjyP8. I wouldn't recommend UV lighting; I have a UV light bug zapping thing that is supposed to attract mosquitos and zap them, and so I know what UV looks like, and I think it would screw up the colors of a astrophoto print. |
