Hi, So my not so old Mac mini intel computer died right before the Xmass holiday, and I had to get a new computer. That meant resetting up Pix on this computer. After I re-downloaded Pix onto the new computer, and reinstalled all of my add on apps, ie, BlurX, StarX, Graxpert, etc., I was up and running again. This all worked for a few days, when low and behold, Pix started to crash, either right as I was started WBP from the script pulldown, or a while after it had begun processing my images. I tried multiple times and every time eventually Pix totally crashed every time. The program actually shut down. I deleted the downloaded version, and re-downloaded Pix from their website...same thing keeps happening. I mean, maybe there are some residual pieces of the program left on the computer after I delete it, although I delete the entire file from the applications section of my hard drive. Any suggestions on why this might be happening, would really be helpful! Currently I am drop boxing my files to a friend. He processes on Pix, and then sends me the file so I can go to Photo Shop! Nice of him, but would love to get it working for me! Thanks for any suggestions! Clear Skies Mark |

Have you posted your issue to PI forum (fastest way to get any help). Additionally, you should look at the post-crash info to see what is actually crashing. Finally, install a previous version of the same PI an see what happens. I'd never use WBPP but my new-ish M2 does handle PI without issues (but haven't tried yet the latest version). |

All good suggestions. I have not posted on the PI forum, but will give that I try. Thanks! Mark |

As mentioned above, the best way to get help is in the PI forum. I use WBPP (PI version 1.8.9-2 build 1593) on my Mac mini M1 all the time without any problems. |

thank you for your suggestions. I try to find help in the community, wherever I can get it! I did re download the older version, and am back up and running with that. Still waiting to be invited into the PIX forum. I am a user, but I guess the forum is a separate registration. So until I get that, I will have to wait to ask why it might now be working on my Mac mini M2...which I love by the way...PIX runs wicked fast on that platform! Thanks again Mark |
