Hi 120ED owners, There seem to be an inconsistency in the understanding of what's included with the delivery of this scope (especially geographically Europe/North America/Asia wise) Can owners confirm whether you got the field flattener included in the delivery of the scope? (I am particularly interested in European scope of delivery) Thanks |

Hello. I am the owner of 80 ED which I bought through TeleSkop Servise from Germany 4 years ago and it was clear in the description of contents that it was NOT included, especially in Europe. It is strange that in some places in the world it is included but not in Europe??. |

The situation in Europe is ,hmmm, interesting. Major European astro equipment suppliers do no include the flattener. (I have not got it neither With Esprit 120 nor with Esprit 80.) Yet, some others, "smaller ones" from Central and Eastern Europe do include it , sometimes with the total price being slightly lower than from the major suppliers without it. Well, you know, it is a free world, free trade, .....The price is determined by the estmimation of the amount buyer is willing to pay, not by the cost plus reasonable margin. |

Yes I’m looking at the Esprit100 and it does state that in the USA the flattener does come with it. This is where I’m going to get my 100 when I order it in the next couple of weeks. https://starizona.com/products/esprit-100mm-ed-triplet-apo-refractor?_pos=5&_sid=55a7ab372&_ss=r I know I saw a video about the Espirt series scopes that stated in the video European country’s do not come with the FF. | I wrote to Sky-Watcher today on the topic too, trying to get clarity from them too. Stjepan you are right, it seems in some shops it is specifically stated it is included even in Europe. Why the inconsistency Sky-Watcher? |
