Description

RCW85 aka The Devil's Tower, is a small star formation region located midway between Alpha and Beta Centaurus.  It is a beautiful but challenging object to image, but rewarding with complexities in the gas and stellar-wind driven gas outflows from the ionisation edge of the nebula.

This was early attempt a processing the data, but the addition of a further four hours did not improve the image.  Indeed I liked it less than the first attempt. This was obviously something irrepreduceable I did right/wrong in post (do you hate it when that happens?), so the final image is the one with less data.
