Description: I intentionally took this on the night the Orionid Meteor Shower peaked with hopes I might catch some in my over an hour of imaging. When I stacked, though, I was disappointed not to see any. Then, I went back and looked at the individual subs, and there was one on one individual frame! I added it to the final image using a mask in Photoshop, and here it is! That is pretty exciting, if I do say so myself. If you zoom in, you can even see the telltale colors that show it is a meteor and not a satellite trail. It was just the beginning of it, though, as you can see by it starting to widen at the bottom. I wish I could have seen how bright it really got before fading.
