Description

This time of year I am extremely lucky to get any clear nights, and of course when I do it's always around a full moon.  This image was capture on a single night during and 85% moon.  I had just reinstalled my GTX 130 in my observatory and wanted to get some practice for galaxy season.

IC342 is a large but faint galaxy in Camelopardalis.  I didnt get anywhere near enough data, but it doesnt look like I will have any opportunities in the near future so I decided to play with what I had.

Really struggled with the color.  There just was not much there with the short integration combined with the moon.  I intentionally left the stars big.  This Galaxy is kind of hidden, so I felt it appropriate to "hide" it in the starfield.  I think the orange tint is due to the signal being filtered by dust or IFN.

C&C Welcome.
