Description

The Rosette Nebula is an H II region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy. The open cluster NGC 2244 is closely associated with the nebulosity, the stars of the cluster having been formed from the nebula's matter. Wikipedia

Above is quick description of the Rosette Nebula. The image is currently a work in progress with roughly 5 hours of data collected over two nights. The first night I collected roughly 90  minutes of data with exposures of 180 Seconds using the NBZ filter, ASI6200C and the Takahashi BRC 250. The second night I collected four hours of data using the same exposure with the  NB1 filter.

Colors channels were extracted using PixInsight and processed.
