Description

NGC1023 happens to be the brightest and the largest of the galaxies in Perseus, a constellation not best known for hosting extragalactic eye-candies. And this is the reason I went after it. Always curious to see what is lurking behind same old washed out b&w picture. Unfortunately in this case there isn't much, maybe with the exception of NGC1023A, a potentially colliding companion of the main galaxy which shows a slightly bluer cast than the main one, possibly suggesting undergoing star-burst episodes. After running after it for several weeks and using up precious time I decided to pull the plug on this one.
