Description

It's been a while, but I finally had another chance at a comet! Conditions have been poor, and I've been focused on other projects during the rare clear nights, but Comet 62P/Tsuchinshan was passing through Virgo so I had a go at collecting some time on it. It hardly moved during the two hours I imaged it, so I'm not sure there was any point in doing two stacks (one Comet-registered) but I did anyway. I think it made the core one pixel smaller...

It's a little noisy and there's not much in the way of a tail, but I do really love the two barred lenticular galaxies (NGC 4608 and NGC 4596) as I've never really processed barred lenticulars before and they're rather novel!
