This is an Astro imaging group dedicated to the promotion of imaging the glorious night skies of Wales.
Those of us that live in Wales tolerate often poor weather suitable for Astronomical visual observing and imaging, and like most large town and cities, those that live in those areas, suffer the ill effects of light pollution. However, when weather conditions permit, there are many areas where the rugged, sparsely populated Welsh countryside is accessible and allows us to avoid the wide scale light pollution seen elsewhere in the World.
International and regional organisations have and continue to ensure that dark sky sites around the World, are safeguarded for both current and future generations to enjoy.
