Description

11 hours taken over 3 moon filled nights. The nebula is around 2400 light years from us.  The bright orange star on the left is Mu Cephei, aka. The Garnet star.  It’s a red supergiant and is 100,000 times brighter than the Sun.  It is also one of the largest known stars with a radius 1,000 times that of the sun. If it was placed in the Sun's position it would engulf the orbit Jupiter.
