Description

Taken from the internet. NGC 1360, also known as the Robin's Egg Nebula,  is a planetary nebula in the constellation of Fornax. It was identified as a planetary nebula due to its strong radiation in the OIII bands. The reddish matter is believed to have been ejected from the original star before its final collapse.

This was a good target to practice using the paramount MYT mount. It was the first clear night in months in Santiago.  For those not familiar with TheSky software, it is a complete package, but not very user-friendly. After rough polar alignment, T-point, accurate polar alignment, protrack, etc. I was able to start imaging using NINA, with TheSky in the background.
