Description

NGC6807 has a bit of history behind it (the image not the nebula!). I did shoot the set in RGB only to loose the definition of what was what. Trying to understand which colour filter I used I made a number of composites interpolating between all the various combinations. Nothing made any sense. In the end I think I used H-beta instead of R. The image in the insert is the result of what I though was the best possible tri-colour composition, meaning the one most capable of conveying information about the structure of the PN (which is TINY, even the Hubble couldn't make out much about it). A hint of the outer shell is shown in red (which I think is B but I can't be categoric about it!). The main picture is a standard RGB I took from a remote observatory just to be sure that I got the PN (no plate solving back then) nabbed.
