View of the starry space while going to Jupiter

I had visualized this photograph and even tried 3 years ago, in that occasion with Saturn (Version B), and that time I said to myself you've got to repeat and improve it. Well, I have waited 3 years to do so...

The idea is quite simple, try to image the planets in a space context, and not the usual black and lonely contour framing the planets. Of course, this comes with a toll on the actual pixel size of the planet and most importanly, with a phtographic challenge to deal with the dynamic range and the halos from the bright light.

Honestly, I find the resulting image dull in a sense, just a starry field with a small object in the centre, on the other hand, I find the image giving a feeling of what could be approaching to Jupiter and Saturn, being able to see the planets and the deep sky at the same time....

Even though I do not think it is an especially impacting image, I recommend enlarging the image to make the planets large enough to be noticeable. In any case, I wanted to share it with this community. Open and brutal critiques are accepted!

It is basically a composition of four takes:

- a 50x10 second RGB (version F)

- a 50x1 second RGB (Version G)

- a 50x0.1 second RGB (version H)

- 3 minutes lucky imaging turned into a single image for the detail planet.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
