Description

NGC2841 is a bright, highly inclined spiral galaxy in Ursa Major. It shows several thin, tightly wound spiral arms and many dust patches and dust lanes. It is located 30 million light years away and its angular size is 8.1' x 3.5'. Its diameter is estimated to 71000 light years.
