New to the
very deep hobby of astrophotography. This is not my first processed image, but it is the first result of Pleaides that I feel is good enough for me to share online.
Data was gathered over 4 sessions, two of which were partial failures - due to weather conditions and newbie mistakes while figuring out my equipment, software, and workflow.
Most of the data here is from the first session, gathered while traveling in Shenandoah National Park. I was able to get 3 hours of solid data that night, but back home trees limit my view. So I have a much narrower band of sky to work with. Nonetheless I marked this as a "backyard" post, because I have spent so much more time on this trying to get good data from home
I opted to exclude darks from processing. With some experimentation I found they were not worth the trouble in stacking.
