Description

Some 6,000 light years away in Gemini the Twins sits a two-lobed planetary nebula that resembles either a person with a parka hood, or a Lion, or . . . your interpretation is welcome. Its apparent diameter is a little over a half a light year, and is a visible smudge in binoculars and small telescopes.
