At evening in June the LMC drops quickly to the southern horizon, actually grazing it after midnight. Despite its low position it stood out in Binoculars, and I hoped to get a decent shot using a moderate focal length.
This is with one of Farieds 8" f/4 actually, and I used Optolong LRGB and HO filters on ASI1600MPro. Narrowband helped a lot to bring out the nebula against the star masses, and the full extent of nebulae are best featured on the starless Bicolor version.
The strange Neon like tint is taken from the pure RGB and represents nearly the true colors. In many color photos the Tarantula shows up rather bluish than reddish, its just how it looks.
