Description

After almost 9 months of lockdowns and clouds this early July new Moon was the first night out under a starry sky. It feels much better to do AP under a starry night!! surrounded by  noises from animals around (mostly harmless cows).... Deep sky imaging from the home backyard (or even from inside home remoting the rig) is not quite the same...

It is 100 km North-East of Madrid, and it takes me around 50 minutes door to "door" as I live on the outskirts of Madrid.

During the lock downs I used the down time to integrate a 135 mm (Samyang / rokinon) with a ASI 183MM on the dual DEC arm of the M-UNO. This summer I have been tuning up the whole set (mainly fine balancing and alignment between two tubes). I think that the small pixel size of the 183mm teams up very well with the 135mm lens.

As said, on the lower part is 135mm / Astromechanics adapter / manual wheel / zwo 183mm / Pegasus mini

On the upper part is ESPRIT 100 / OAG / Motor 7 filter wheel / 1600 mm / Pegasus astro

All put together on the M-UNO.

ON a separate "court" there is a star-adventurer with a modified canon with a 50 mm (trying to put some panorama tiles of the milky way).

Happy to share this other side of the scope/camera, which I feel it is a big part of the whole experience....

And happy to take any question you may have on any of the devices I have mentioned....

Enjoying my Director's Chair I wish you great skies! Guillermo
