Description

It was my first LRGB shooting. I went on an expedition for two days to gain exposure time.

The Blue Horsehead Nebula is 400 light-years away from our solar system. Visible light is generally considered to be more likely to be scattered by short-wavelength blue light than by long-wavelength red light. For this reason, it is easy to scatter blue light in the stellar light that shines on the reflection nebula, so this IC4592 also looks blue when viewed from the earth.
