Description

Sh 2-155 is a diffuse nebula in the constellation Cepheus, with a declination of 62° 28' and a distance of approximately 2400 ly from Earth. It is an ionized HII region with ongoing star forming activity. Broadband images of this region seem to outnumber the SHO images on AstroBin, but I thought the colors that I was able to bring out of the narrow band image made a pretty strong argument.

I am absolutely loving this beautiful run of clear, warm weather we have been experiencing here on the east coast. I know the cold and cloudy nights are coming so I'm trying to make hay while the sun shines (so to speak).
