Description

I wanted to get this image out of the way as halfway through the imaging, I realized I wanted to frame this project differently. This one had been pretty annoying to capture as whenever this target was up, it was starting to get cloudy or there were already pesky high clouds. This made it a huge pain to clean out those datapoints.

Processing steps:
  1. Stack in ASTAP
  2. Remove backgrounds in GraXpert
  3. Bring images to Affinity
  4. Stretch the Quadband data then export
  5. Use Starnet 2 CLI on the quadband data to get the stars
  6. Split the color channels on the HaOiii Dualband image. Stretch then export each monochrome layer.
  7. Use Starnet 2 CLI to extract the stars from the monochrome images and bring them back to Affinity
  8. Recolor the images G as Oiii -> G and B. R as Ha -> R.
  9. Combine the images together along with the stars after some adjustment of the vibrance
