Description

NGC 3132 is a planetary nebula in Vela. It is also known as the eight burst nebula or the southern ring nebula and is notable in that it was one of the 5 objects included in the first press release of James Webb telescope images.
This cropped image was a bit of a test after I decided to ditch my Celestron autofocusser and replace it with a ZWO EAF. I am much happier with the performance of the EAF, although the image could certainly use more data.
